Siem Reap, Cambodia - Turn Down for Wat

During our five days in Cambodia, we explored the many temples of Angkor, ate mystery meat at a Khmer BBQ joint with our British buddies, Charlotte and James, grilled up some crocodile for dinner, tasted as much ice cream as we could find, and enjoyed how nice, polite, and calm the Cambodian people are.

In Luang Prabang, we got brave and ate dinner from buffet tables in a dirty alley, watched the Morning Alms ceremony, visited a beautiful waterfall with our new adventurous friends from Britain, and learned that the US bombed Laos more than any other country during the Vietnam War. Budapest, Hungary - Week 3: Time to Recover

During our last week in Budapest, we needed time to rest! While we had a great time with our visiting friends Courtney and Shawn (who we stayed with in Amsterdam) on a pub crawl, Noelle had a tough time recovering from a roofie that somehow made its way into her drink. Our last few days in this great city were spent resting.

The theme of our second week was exploration! Our new friends indulged my wine tasting passion with a day in Eger where we drank lots of vino in tasting rooms that were built into a giant hillside, and enjoyed some traditional snacks like onion bread!
